If you’re like me, it’s always a bit of a struggle choosing a foundation colour that suits, and then to match it with a complimentary concealer, blusher, bronzer and powder? Who knows where to start!
Well Maybelline has launched a Facebook & Smartphone app which helps you find your perfect match from their new Fit Me range – I’ve just popped over to Facebook to try it and it’s really fantastic! There are 3 steps:
Step 1. You click load a photo and choose one from your Facebook profile. Step 2. You click on 3 different places on your face and the Maybelline Fit Me Finder tells you you Fit Me number! So easy! So My Fit Me number is #115…

How to enter the Maybelline Fit Me makeup giveaway:
Pop over to the Maybelline Fit Me Finder on Facebook and discover what Fit Me shade you are and once you have found out your Fit Me number, let me know what Maybelline Fit Me number you are the comments and you could win one of two packs which include your matched Fit Me range and a Fit Me t-shirt. Each pack is worth over $120.
*UPDATE* a wee glitch with the app – you need to be logged out of facebook go to the Maybelline Fit Me Finder on Facebook page and then log in and it works perfectly. Sorry! Bit of a faff I know.
The competition runs from Monday the 16th January to the 30th January 2012 - I will notify the winners by email within a couple of days of the competition finishing.

I’ve just tried using the Fit Me finder and it doesn’t work if you’re already logged in to Facebook!
If you log out and go to the page and then log in it works – sorry! What a faff!
#115 too! Is that strange that we’re the same though and we’re different skin tones…. himm
That does seem like it would be too pale for you Pam! Maybe you needed to change the lightening on the pic – there’s a slider thingy on the app?

First time it said I was 230 which I know is wrong, next time 135 but I know from experience I have to be much paler – perhaps 120. But definately going to have a look if Maybelline is stocking this range of colours in NZ. I usually have to get my foundation from overseas to get a pale enough shade!!

It says mine is #230 but it looks darker than I’d like.
I think I’d prefer #115 which is a very light colour if you don’t mind, please put me down as #115.
We can’t get FitMe in the UK so even if I don’t win I’m definitely going to colour match and swatch the range to see which best suits me.

I found this at Countdown yesterday but they didn’t have much stock and none in shade #115 so I could check it out at least by sight.
