MAC Workshop – Femme to Feline at New Zealand Fashion Festival

Today was my first day at New Zealand Fashion Festival and I went along to the MAC Femme to Feline makeup workshop… well it was bloody fabulous!

The focus of the MAC Femme to Feline makeup seminar was how to achieve the perfect smoky eye and MAC trainer Ocea Ferber and MAC artist Kiri O’Brien demonstrated step-by-step technique to get two different (but equally gorgeous) smoky eye makeup looks.

When you first arrive for your MAC workshop, everyone gets given a MAC goody bag… and let me tell you this is no ordinary goody bag! Not only did it have 2 full-sized MAC products (I got a lipstick and a mascara), it has brilliant step-by-step written instructions on how to get the look! Plus you get a $50 MAC voucher!

As the MAC artists are making-up the models, they are talking through it step-by-step, including telling you what brushes and products they’re using at each step as well as giving wee hints and tips. All of the action is filmed and live-streamed to two big screens on either side of the demonstration stage, so everyone can see exactly what is going on.

If you’re in Auckland and can get down to Shed 10 on the Queen’s Wharf this week I’d highly recommend getting yourself along to one of these MAC makeup workshops!

There are two MAC workshops to go this week:

Wednesday, 29 February 2012 05:30pm – 06:30pm
MAC TECHNIQUE – ON TREND

and

Saturday, 03 March 2012 10:00am – 11:00am
MAC TECHNIQUE – BACK TO BASICS

Tickets cost $60 each and you can buy them here… but remember $50 of your $60 is redeemable in-store at MAC and you just might get an amazing goody bag as well as learning a whole host of tips, tricks and short-cuts from the MAC experts.
