When I first came back to New Zealand I found Miki mini nail polishes – fabulous wee mini polishes that cost just $4 and the other day the lovely ladies over at Miki sent me one of their eyeshadow palettes to try out… well I had no idea Miki did a full range of makeup and all at such bargain prices. All Miki makeup costs just $4 or you can mix and match and get 2 Miki makeup products for just $6!
The eyeshadow I have to show you is called Miki Pretty Fun Purple Chick (wee bit of a mouthful!), that and the ridiculously cheap price make me think that Miki is most definitely targeted at the young ‘uns! However, I know I love the polishes, so was keen to see how the Miki Intense Eye Shadow palette performed.
The packaging is a wee bit cheap-looking, but the shadow is very pretty!
You can see from the picture above, the Miki eyeshadow is highly pigmented so you get great coverage and the four colours in the palette are all super-wearable. I wouldn’t use all four eyeshadow colours at once, but there are some great colour combination possibilities with these four shades.
There are four different Miki eyeshadow palettes to choose from, they cost just $4 each and you can buy them from pharmacies across New Zealand.

These look lovely Emma. I’ve only got 2 miki mini polishes and I really liked them. I got them in a 2 for $5 offer at Unichem. My local pharmacy has a set of Miki Mini Glitter polishes (its a normal polish but with pots of glitter on top) I’m very tempted and I’d love to get a couple of these e/s palettes too
Hi Karen,
they are lovely and for the price – amazing! I haven’t seen those Miki glitter polishes they sound like they could be really cute tho! (Maybe a bit messy
Thanks for the wee review, been wondering what these would be like to use since they’re so cheap but seems I needn’t worry about the quality.
