Since finishing my amazing Inika foundation the other day, I’ve decided to give the new Kate Moss foundation a try.
Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is an ‘anti-fatigue’ foundation that promises to:
“instantly re-awaken skin with a healthy, radiant looking glow, whilst also helping to minimise signs of premature ageing.”
Sounds good to me! So what is Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation actually like?
First of all the bottle – Wake Me Up foundation has a pump dispenser which I like when my foundation is new as it keeps everything clean, but the bottle is made out of glass, which means that once you’re nearing the end of the bottle, there’s no way you’ll ever be able to get all of the foundation out of the bottle.
That aside, Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation has a light smooth texture that is really easy to apply and blend (I use my fingertips for foundation – not a brush). It has a beautiful fresh fragrance and the finish is really smooth and even, it even does a good job of skimming over open pores. It’s fuller coverage than I was expecting, but it’s not at all mask-like.
Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation costs $24.99 and is available from Farmers, Kmart and The Warehouse across New Zealand.
