A couple of weeks ago I treated myself to two Butter London nail polishes from NZ Sale at the bargain price of $17 each (that’s almost half the regular price).
First of all I have Butter London Jaffa nail polish to show you – it’s a bright orange creme nail polish (as the name suggests!). It’s a true bright orange – not too red and not too yellow.
The texture of Butter London Jaffa nail polish is just perfect – I have three coats of polish on in these pictures, but definitely could have gotten away with two. While the polish is perfectly streak-free, it isn’t perfectly opaque, which often happens with bright creme polishes. You can still see my nail line through the polish, but I do have very white tips (and very long nails at the moment!)
I absolutely love the colour of Butter London Jaffa as well! I have been on a bit of an orange nail polish bender lately and have ended up with quite a few in my collection! This one is a goodie, but Butter London polishes usually retail for about $30, which is just so pricey, especially for a colour that isn’t really too unique.
So unless price is no object, I’d probably go for something like Mavala Orange Amazone ($9.99) from the Mavala Paradox nail polish collection, or OPI A Roll in the Hague nail polish (still pricey at $26) from the OPI Holland nail polish collection.
If you’re lucky enough to find Butter London nail polishes on sale like I did however, treat yourself to Jaffa – you won’t be disappointed! NZ Sale quite often have beauty sales, so it is worth popping over there from time to time.
One Butter London nail polish that I would definitely recommend buying full price, is Butter London Trout Pout - an amazing corally peach nail polish.
